Thermage®, Thermacool
The ThermaLift radio frequency (RF) procedure is designed to reduce the signs of aging and sagging skin. The FDA has given approval to treat and lift the area around the eyes and the forehead. The midface, jawline and neck areas can be treated as well. Newer, denser collagen is formed after just one treatment, effectively tightening and toning thin or loose skin to provide a more youthful appearance. While some swelling may be present for several days, there is no downtime for this procedure. We offer packages for continuing improvement. Click here to read more about Thermage.
Clear Skin Laser Facial
The Clear Skin Laser Facial is a laser treatment able to reduce acne blemishes and cysts and control oil production. We tailor each program to the individual and develop a personalized skin care plan.
KTP Laser
This vascular laser treatment can be used to improve dilated capillaries and sun spots on face, neck, chest, hands, arms, trunk and legs. Only the damaged areas are treated and recovery time is minimal depending on the amount of damage present.
Photo-Finish Facial
Photo Finish, also known as Photo Rejuvenation, is a laser procedure designed to improve the appearance of ruddy, red, rough or flushing skin types as well as sun spots and enlarged pores. The face, neck and chest areas may be treated. Good candidates for Photo Finish treatment include men and women who are physically healthy, realistic in their expectations and looking to improve the appearance of skin that is red, rough or sun-damaged.
Photo Finish treatment is typically performed in a surgeon’s office-based facility or an outpatient surgery center and usually takes just fifteen to thirty minutes to complete. A topical anesthetic may be applied and then light energy is gently delivered to the treatment area using a special hand piece. The light energy stimulates the production of collagen. Recovery is minimal and, though some temporary redness or bruising may occur, most patients are able to immediately return to work and other activities. While a significant change will occur after a single treatment, most patients require multiple treatment.
Cool Touch Laser
The Cool Touch Laser treatment is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure able to improve the appearance of wrinkles and acne. The Cool Touch Laser works by stimulating collagen, resulting in smoother, more youthful looking skin. Good candidates for Cool Touch laser treatment include men and women who are physically healthy, realistic in their expectations and looking to improve the appearance of the facial skin.
Cool Touch laser treatments are typically performed in a surgeon’s office-based facility or outpatient surgery center, and treatment typically takes between ten and thirty minutes to complete. A series of treatments spaced over a two to three month period is usually required. A cooling spray is first applied to the skin and then the laser energy is applied in a series of gentle pulses. There is little discomfort during treatment. While a slight blush may appear on the treated area, recovery is minimal and there is virtually no downtime. Patients are able to return to work and other activities right away.
Rejuvenation Package
These new lasers have a built-in' cooling system that enable us to combine laser wrinkle reduction and laser sun damage treatments with a mini microdermabrasion for maximum penetration. A 3-in-1 treatment that takes just one session and has a minimal recovery time.
Laser Peel
The lightest version of laser resurfacing, the laser peel exfoliates several top layers of the skin to rejuvenate the face, neck, chest, hands and/or trunk. Recovery lasts two to five days and can result in light peeling or mild redness.
Laser Resurfacing
Laser resurfacing is a procedure designed to retexture and improve the appearance of wrinkles, sun-damaged skin and scars. Laser resurfacing is performed with the Erbium laser, a gentle laser which can be used on the entire face or on smaller areas. Good candidates for laser resurfacing include men and women who are physically healthy, realistic in their expectations and interested in improving the appearance or age- or sun-damaged skin or scars.
Laser resurfacing may be performed in a surgeon’s office-based facility, an outpatient surgery center or a hospital. Local anesthesia combined with sedation is commonly used. Depending upon the area being treated, the procedure can take anywhere from several minutes to an hour to complete. Multiple sessions may be required. During the procedure, the laser is carefully moved over the skin until the wrinkle or scar is made less visible. After treatment, a cream or ointment may be applied to the skin and the treated area may then be covered with a bandage.
Patients may experience some mild discomfort after treatment which can be controlled with pain medication. Bandages, if used, are typically removed within a week. Some pinkness or redness of the skin can occur and may take several weeks to fade. Most patients are able to return to work and other normal activities within one week, though sun exposure will need to be limited for a period of time. The results of laser resurfacing are long-lasting, but new wrinkles and expression lines may form as the skin continues to age.
